Escape from my world..

The scent of smoke
I hear their call
The memories They choke
they wish to see me fall

To see me die
They will do anything
Their memory shoots me out of the sky
My mind drowning

I do what i want
They shall not stop me
I say what i want
the shall not break me

I buried their Bodies
who knew the fields would die?
In their death they brought more worries
Pain grows as the river runs dry

I run to the hills
The castle keeper greets me
I know not to trust this shill
for he only cares to eat me

I escape their ghosts
Fleeing to the center
The dead give a toast
The citadel they want me to enter

Escaping my world
One step at a time
The pain and sorrow unfurled
Up the ladder I climb

Hoping to escape my own hell
I find myself facing A wraith
My pain he tries to sell

I feel the scythe swing
The shades come to my safety
Escaping just barely
The dead begin to sing

Explosions I see

Through the palace square
We continue through this hell
Escaping my own snare
Through the abandoned well

Old dreams and nightmares
ahead in this fray
Wicked things and cheap scares
Visions that are in my way

Burying each in its place
Make it out of here alive
Wipe the sweat from my face
These nightmares shall never revive

Keep on running..
run from it all
